Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Sorry it's taken me so long since my last post but you know how busy this time of year is and with the addition of snow causing disruption, I don't know where the time has gone!
Well last night we went to the winter wonderland which is in the gardens of an outlet shopping centre near where we live. It was opened last year for the first time and was so christmassy that we decided to go again this year. Well dispite the bitter cold it was made even more magical by the real snow. Thought you might like to see some pictures.
We ended with a visit to santa in his grotto and a present for Sophie!

Halloween Party!

Sophie loves Halloween especially the dressing up! So when she was invited to a Halloween Party at the Local Youth club that her brothers attend she was really excited to go!Sophie and Ash got dressed up for the occasion!
Unfortunatly we had to leave early as the Balloons were brought out and that is one of her pet hates so she ended up getting very upset! At least I got some photo's to add to my Halloween mini books!

Finally....

My most exciting project! Having been inspired by some of the lovely ladies on the docrafts forum and also the wonderful mini books on You Tube I decided to have a go at one myself!

With some of my birthday money I bought some Tim Holtz alcohol inks, grunge board elements, and a distress ink pad also some glimmer mist. I also used the die I had with the Bigshot I got for my birthday to make the front cover. lots of tags, distressing, embossing, ribbons, glitter, fibers, charms later this is the result:
II aim to add photos of family days out etc. I have enjoyed making this mini album and can't wait to start another!
